- Regular salaried jobs: share of workers with a regular wage or salary (PLFS). MoSPI's All-India figure for this breakdown does not add up, so it is not shown.
- Inflation, 2025: old series (base 2012), average Consumer Price Index for 2025 on 2024, rural and urban combined (urban where MoSPI publishes no combined index). The CPI keeps Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu separate and has no index for Ladakh.
- Inflation, Sep 2026: new Consumer Price Index (base 2024), on the same month a year earlier, combined, provisional, from MoSPI's press release.
- Spending per person: average monthly consumption spending, excluding items received free (HCES).
- A dash means MoSPI publishes no figure, or the figure failed the checks (see Sources).
